And the Rain Came Down…..

Old-Town-Hall---High-Wycombe---2013_web

It wasn’t a sunny day like this at the Old Town Hall in High Wycombe on Saturday 12th November – it was lashing down when our stalwart stallholders were unloading at 7.45am and it continued like this for most of the day so many thanks to our visitors who made it despite the weather!  We are always so pleased to see our return visitors as well who are always so complimentary about Ruby’s.

The room was full of great vintage with some Ruby Regulars and some people who were selling with us for the first time, in fact a couple of people were actually selling at their very first vintage fair.  So we placed them next to a “Mentor” and now it seems, they are hooked!

One of the services we offer as Fair organisers is to take over a stall for a while if the seller needs to get a cuppa or go off and do some shopping (they can be other stallholder’s best customers some times!) and Marianne of All That Glitters left Lyn in charge for a short while.  As Lyn is one of Marianne’s best customers, it was a bit dangerous and very tempting…..  but anyway, all was intact when she returned.

We are going to be returning to Sundays for our events here next year as parking is so expensive on a Saturday so we hope that you will follow us back to this day.  We’ll let you know when our 2017 dates are finalised.

We have another Fair in Wantage in Oxfordshire on Sunday 27th November and then if you fancy a short trip up the M40 to Junction 12, you can visit us at Compton Verney Art Gallery & Park where we are back by popular demand as part of their Victorian Christmas event.
