We made our last visit of the year to the Old Town Hall in High Wycombe on Remembrance Sunday which might have caused us a few problems in unloading but our marvellous stallholders turned up extra early to enable the parade to form up at the side of the building.
The room was full of some great vintage and retro crafts – some regular stallholders that you may recognise like Jackie from Fandangle with her beautiful bracelets made from old beads, Flora and her lovely vintage jewellery including some amazingly detailed reverse Lucite brooches, Mel and Rose with their always attractive displays of vintage china and Sharon with her amazing handbag collection.
We were delighted to welcome some new stallholders that offered something a little different – Frilly Chantilly brought along some personally designed retro dresses as well as some amazing capes trimmed with faux fur which would cost you double in posh shops such as Selfridges, Jess Lelong displayed Art Deco and Art Nouveau inspired jewellery (Lyn bought another 2 pieces) and Liam Kearney had original prints and adverts on display which made ideal Christmas presents.
The tea room in the gorgeous Oak Room did a roaring trade in cake and Prosecco which kept your event organisers going during a long day!
We have one more event this year which is at the Beacon in Wantage (Oxon) and then we are off and running for 2016.
We have a new venue to replace the temporarily closed Abingdon Guildhall – Millets Farm Centre which is on the main road between Abingdon and Witney. Our first event there is on Saturday 16th March.
And then we are back at the Old Town Hall on Saturday 16th April so we hope to see you’all very soon!
