Shiny Medals and Sandhurst

Sunday 16th June saw us back in the vintage marquee at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst’s Open Day.

This is the only day that the public are invited to this iconic site and what’s more, it’s free to enter.

We were in a swanky new marquee, the army having splashed out on a replacement to the battered one with no sides from the previous year and after a bid of a dodgy start, we were off to a good day.  The wind got up later in the day and we had to do some running repairs to the sides, helped by Josh and Steve and some industrial strength cable ties that we happened to find……

We thoroughly enjoyed our day and hope to be invited back next year
