Back to the Guildhall

Ruby’s was delighted to return to this fine old historic building in the centre of Abingdon last Saturday, 18th May.  The building had been closed for refurbishment and this also meant that we could not use the main Abbey Room as we had done in previous years.  But we were able to use two of the oldest rooms in the building to showcase the finest of true vintage and the best of good retro to the good people of the town and beyond.

It was lovely to hear that we were welcome back to Abingdon and that we had been missed.  It was a shame that the fair was smaller than before but I’m sure the cinema is a great addition to the facilities.

We enjoyed seeing old friends and Yvonne was able to reacquaint herself with some of our original stallholders and the world of vintage.  Her husband Ian was put to work during the day as well.

A steady stream of people kept us busy and we will see you all in November.  Don’t forget we are just along the A415 on 6th and 7th of July at Millets Farm Centre if you can’t wait that long!
